Medisha.com was born in 2015 out of frustration of a doctor who could not find a convenient place to maintain own personal medical records. Most doctors, clinics and diagnostic labs handed out handwritten or printed records but there was no easy way to organize this information in one place. Determined to solve this problem, the doctor started to learn technology to design and build the first version of Medisha.com in October 2015.
The first version of Medisha.com was quite simple. It was like a digital locker for medical files. The doctor wasn't satisfied.
Slowly the doctor adding features that made it easier and more meaningful to use. Over time following features were added:

India is a country of poor health infrastructure. We would like to lend a hand without extracting money from the poorest. For this reason we have kept our services free for the most part. We will keep enhancing our services and bringing more benefit to those who need it without adding exorbitant charges.
